Background
teem is a company specializing in hiring freelancers to build mobile apps using the no-code framework Buzzy. With a growing pool of freelance talent, teem.inc needed an efficient system to identify the right candidates for various projects based on their skills and experience. They engaged AI Point to design and implement a backend service to automate the process of skill extraction, categorization, and project matching for freelancers.
Challenge
teem.inc required a system that could:
- Automate CV Processing: Freelancers needed to upload their CVs to the system, which would then extract relevant data.
- Skill Categorization: The system needed to accurately categorize both soft and technical skills.
- Intelligent Project Matching: Candidates should be matched with projects based on their skill sets, ensuring the best fit for ongoing and upcoming assignments.

Solution
AI Point developed a backend service that integrates with the teem mobile app, using Generative AI technology to power the skill identification and project-matching system.
- CV Data Extraction: The system automatically extracts data from uploaded CVs, identifying both technical and soft skills using advanced AI techniques.
- Skill Categorization and Matching: The AI categorizes candidates based on their skill sets and matches them with relevant projects within teem’s portfolio. This was achieved by leveraging AWS services, Python APIs, and ChatGPT for natural language understanding and skill identification.
- Intelligent Recommendations: The system suggests projects based on the freelancer’s skills, allowing them to join projects that align with their capabilities.
